Duties
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the host stand and dining area.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service.
- Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, enhancing overall guest relations.
- Provide support during busy periods, including assisting with takeout orders or managing guest flow.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest services or customer service roles, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A friendly demeanor and a genuine desire to provide excellent hospitality experiences.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
