Responsibilities and Duties
The Upholsterer role at Blockhouse is very important for the quality and appearance of our finished products. We build and sell a variety of upholstered chairs, love seats, couches, and modular furniture with commercial grade foam and fabrics which create a beautiful and durable end product for the customer.
Qualifications and Skills
Previous experience in Upholstery work is a must. Working with heavy fabric, vinyl material, and foam is preferred. Industrial sewing machine experience is a plus, but not necessarily required. Automotive upholstery work is also a good source of related experience. Since the furniture piece is often completed in the Upholstery department an eye for detail and good workmanship is critical.

Hours of work: Monday through Thursday 6:30 AM to 4:00 PM; Fridays 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM
