Help individuals with disabilities safely get to and from services, activities, and appointments throughout the Cedar Rapids area.
To The Rescue is hiring Transportation Drivers to provide safe and reliable transportation for individuals with disabilities in the community.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys driving, working independently, and interacting with people in a positive and supportive environment. Many drivers enjoy this role as either steady full-time work or a flexible part-time opportunity.
Safely transport individuals to appointments, services, and activities
Assist passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, and personal belongings as needed
Ensure passengers are safely loaded and unloaded
Maintain a professional and respectful environment
Complete basic transportation documentation and communicate with team members as needed
Dependable and safety-focused individuals
Strong communication and customer service skills
Comfortable assisting individuals with varying needs
Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
Comfortable using a tablet-based routing system for daily routes and documentation
