The Steward Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of staff and processes to maintain overall cleanliness and organization of culinary areas and kitchen equipment.
Responsibilities:

Supervision of staff to include interviewing, training, performance management, disciplinary counseling and conducting performance evaluations.

Responsible for scheduling to assure staffing levels consistent with budget
- Responsible for controlling, issuing and inventory of all equipment used in the restaurant, banquet room, room service, and bars.

Responsible for overseeing the cleaning and storage of all wares used in food and beverage.

Schedule cleaning of kitchen and banquet storage and organizing inventory.

Ensure the safety and security of all employees and guest.

Other duties as assigned.

A Few Must Haves
-
A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
-
Two (2) years’ experience in a hotel or high volume kitchen area.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to walk extended distances during shifts.

The team member is frequently required to stand; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, and bend.

The team member must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
