Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of crawl spaces and basements to identify moisture problems, mold growth, and structural concerns.
- Install and repair waterproofing systems including vapor barriers, drainage mats, sump pumps, and sealing membranes.
- Use hand tools and power tools to perform tasks such as cutting, fitting, caulking, and sealing building materials according to project specifications.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation of waterproofing components.
- Manage construction plans and follow blueprint specifications meticulously during project execution.
- Operate heavy equipment when necessary for excavation or foundation work related to waterproofing projects.
- Collaborate with team members on remodeling or restoration projects involving crawl space encapsulation or foundation repairs.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including dimensional measurements and installation records.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining procedures clearly and addressing client questions professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven construction site experience with a strong understanding of building material installation and construction management principles.
- Familiarity with blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans.
- Experience with plumbing, electrical systems, roofing, masonry, flooring installation, or related trades is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, and ladder use; ability to safely operate heavy equipment if needed.
- Knowledge of waterproofing techniques such as caulking, sealing membranes, gutter installation, and drainage systems.
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude toward client interactions.
- Physical capability to perform manual labor including lifting heavy materials and working at heights or confined spaces safely.
- Relevant experience in remodeling or restoration projects is a plus; certifications in construction estimating or inspection are beneficial but not required.

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
