Role Details:
- Contract position for the new school year (August 2026 – June 2027)
- Located onsite, supporting a diverse caseload of K-12 students
- 37.5 hours per week, ensuring a robust schedule while leaving room for work-life balance
- Open to both local professionals and those seeking a travel assignment
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Valid, active Occupational Therapist license issued by the state of California
- Previous experience in school-based OT settings (preferred, but not required)
- Comfortable working with students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage with educators and families
- Flexibility, creativity, and compassion when addressing students' unique needs
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and develop individualized educational plans for students with a variety of needs
- Implement evidence-based interventions to support participation and performance in school activities
- Maintain thorough records and comply with all state and federal guidelines
- Provide consultation and training for school staff and parents as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for every child
