Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Recovery Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient recovery of vehicles, utilizing various methods and equipment. This role requires strong mechanical knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage conflicts effectively. As a Recovery Agent, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that vehicles are retrieved promptly and safely while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Duties
- Operate AUTO LOADER tow trucks and other recovery vehicles to retrieve disabled or impounded vehicles.
- Conduct vehicle assessments to determine the best recovery method based on the situation.
- Utilize manual transmission vehicles effectively during recovery operations.
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing their concerns and inquiries with professionalism.
- Manage conflict situations with clients or other parties involved in the recovery process.
- Perform basic automotive diagnostics to identify issues that may affect vehicle recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of recovered vehicles and related documentation.
- Ensure all equipment is in good working condition through regular inspections and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a similar role or relevant field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge, particularly related to automotive systems and diagnostics.
- Ability to operate AUTO LOADER tow trucks and other recovery equipment safely.
- Valid driving license is a must.
- Excellent conflict management skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Strong customer service skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards clients' situations.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
