The Position
As a Production Manager / Project Manager with Oak Interiors, you will be responsible for:
Project & Job Site Management:
- Oversee multiple job sites from start to finish
- Conduct walkthroughs, establish project plans, and set expectations with homeowners and crews
- Perform daily job check-ins to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Ensure all work meets company standards and exceeds client expectations
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
Communication & Coordination:
- Communicate clearly with homeowners, admin staff, and crews
- Answer questions, set expectations, and manage schedules
- Resolve on-site challenges quickly and professionally
- Handle and document change orders as project scopes evolve
- Build strong homeowner relationships and upsell additional work when appropriate
Financial Oversight:
- Track job costs and expenses to ensure profitability
- Perform final walkthroughs with homeowners
- Collect payments and request reviews to support company reputation
Marketing & Growth:
- Hang door hangers and distribute marketing materials near active job sites
Team Support:
- Assist with onboarding new laborers or subcontractors
- Deliver materials and provide logistical support as needed
- Coordinate schedules and prepare for upcoming projects with ownership/admin
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay Structure: Base salary + 6% commission
- Schedule: Full-time (specific hours TBD)
- Location: In-person, job sites throughout Rapid City and the surrounding areas
