We are a small company looking for a talented machinist. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 3 yrs experience operating CNC mills & lathes. Experience can be in a School or Professional shop setting.
This position requires candidates to:
- Applicant must have a proven ability to setup and operate CNC milling machines working in a job-shop and production environment.
- Machine part from blueprint, sketch, or verbal instruction
- Use and maintain a variety of precision measuring / inspection equipment to hold +/-.001 tolerances.
- Complete 1st piece inspection of part and maintain consistent Quality checks
- Conduct daily machine maintenance of machine and equipment and maintain record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Follow good housekeeping practice, keep areas clean and organize
Job Requirements:
- Either a 2-year Machine Tool Associate Degree or 3-plus years on the job experience. Eager to learn!
- Programming G-Code experience a plus but not required
- Able to work independently or with a team
- Candidate must be dependable, reliable and responsible
Must have good knowledge of tooling and speeds and feed rates
