Duties
- Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and recommend suitable products or services to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers with retail sales transactions, including processing cash, credit, and debit payments accurately using cash registers and financial software
- Handle cash drawer management, ensuring precise cash handling, balancing registers at shift end, and maintaining accurate cash management records
- Support retail lending activities by explaining loan options, assisting with loan processing, and collecting payments or overdue loans responsibly
- Perform data entry tasks related to sales records, customer information, and transaction logs with attention to detail and accuracy
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stock shelves, and ensure product displays are appealing and well-stocked
- Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals, contribute ideas for promotional activities, and provide excellent customer service at all times
Skills
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service environments with a focus on delivering positive experiences
- Knowledge of banking or financial services processes related to retail lending or loan collections is a plus
- Strong math skills including basic math, retail math, and proficiency in 10 key typing for efficient transaction processing
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while managing cash drawers and performing cash handling duties confidently
- Familiarity with retail store operations such as cashiering, cash management, and processing cash transactions using financial software
- Excellent communication skills for engaging customers effectively and explaining financial products clearly
- Experience with data entry tasks involving customer information or sales data with high accuracy
