About the Role:
The Shipping Lead plays a crucial role in the Warehouse industry by overseeing the efficient and accurate receipt of goods into the warehouse. This position is responsible for ensuring that all incoming shipments are inspected, documented, and stored appropriately, maintaining the integrity of inventory management. The Shipping Lead will coordinate with various departments to streamline processes and resolve any discrepancies that may arise during the receiving process. Additionally, this role involves training and supervising a team of receiving associates, fostering a culture of safety and efficiency. Ultimately, the Shipping Lead contributes to the overall operational success of the organization by ensuring that products are received and processed in a timely manner, supporting the supply chain and customer satisfaction goals.
Job hours will start with afternoon/night and adjust later in the fall to morning/afternoon.
Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Proven experience in a warehouse or receiving role, with at least 2 years experience.

Strong understanding of inventory systems and processes.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with warehouse, receiving, pallet jack, picking orders, housekeeping, and inventory

Certification in forklift operation or other material handling equipment.
Responsibilities:

Supervise and train receiving staff to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy, documenting any discrepancies or damages.
