We are seeking an experienced and dependable Warehouse Lead to oversee a team responsible for warehouse cleanouts and aircraft parts sorting operations. This role will supervise Parts Pullers and Sorters, ensure accuracy when identifying approved and rejected aircraft parts, and maintain productivity and organization throughout the warehouse.
The ideal candidate is a strong leader with warehouse experience, excellent communication skills, patience, attention to detail, and the ability to keep a team focused and efficient in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and assist Parts Pullers and Sorters during warehouse cleanout operations
- Ensure employees properly follow detailed worksheets identifying approved, rejected, and scrap aircraft parts
- Monitor productivity, accuracy, and organization of warehouse operations
- Train team members on sorting procedures, labeling requirements, and material identification
- Verify boxes are properly labeled with correct quantities and part numbers
- Oversee scrap separation processes, including identifying magnetic and non-magnetic materials
- Assist with moving pallets and crates using pallet jacks when needed
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Communicate daily expectations and provide guidance to team members
- Report inventory discrepancies, workflow issues, or employee concerns to management
- Lead by example with professionalism, consistency, and strong work ethic
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience with inventory control, parts sorting, or warehouse operations required
- Pallet jack experience preferred
- Ability to lift and move boxes weighing 40–50 pounds regularly
- Bilingual required
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions
- Must have patience and the ability to manage repetitive tasks and team workflow effectively
- Legible handwriting required
- Reliable attendance and dependable work ethic
Work Environment
- Warehouse environment involving large pallets, crates, and aircraft components
- Standing, walking, lifting, bending, and supervising operations throughout the shift required
Schedule / Pay
Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 4pm
Friday 7:30am - 12pm
Pay: $18-20 per hour
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
