Role Objective
We are looking for a reliable, hardworking individual to join our heart-of-house team. As a Dishwasher, you are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of all chinaware, glassware, and cutlery, as well as ensuring the kitchen team has the tools they need to succeed during a busy service.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning & Sanitation: Wash and sanitize all dishes, pots, pans, and utensils using manual three-compartment sinks.
- Organization: Return clean items to their proper storage areas quickly to ensure the line stays stocked.
- Kitchen Support: Assist with basic food prep (e.g., peeling vegetables) during slow periods and help unload delivery trucks.
- Maintenance: Keep the dish area clean, swept, and mopped. Remove trash and recycling to designated dumpsters throughout the shift.
- Safety: Follow all health and safety protocols, including the correct handling of chemicals and wet floor precautions.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Efficiency: Ability to work quickly and stay calm under pressure during "rush" periods.
- Reliability: Consistent attendance and a "team-first" attitude.
- Experience: Previous kitchen experience is a plus, but we are willing to train anyone with the right work ethic.
- Schedule: Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Pay: From $19.18 per hour
