Dishwasher – Assisted Living
We are currently seeking a Dishwasher to join our assisted living community. This role supports the kitchen and dining team by assisting with food preparation, meal service, and maintaining a clean and safe dining environment for our residents.
Key Duties Include:
Assist the Cook with food preparation following daily menus
Help prepare meals and food items for special events and occasions
Support meal service by plating, serving, and preparing beverages
Bus tables during and after meals and reset dining areas for the next service
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and dining areas
Properly store food in accordance with infection control and safety guidelines
Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas per schedule
Operate dishwashing equipment; clean pots, pans, and utensils
Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain dining room floors after meals
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or Cook
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a kitchen, dining, or food service environment preferred
Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to cleanliness and detail
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
