Assistant General Manager for Sales – School of Rock South Plainfield
The Role Are you a sales-savvy music lover who wants to make a real impact? We are looking for an energetic Assistant General Manager who is passionate about the local musical community and eager to grow with us. In this role, you will be the driving force behind our enrollment, connecting with families, and helping us expand our vibrant community of young musicians.
Schedule & Availability
- Core In-Person Hours: Monday – Thursday, 3:00 PM – 9:00 PM, and Saturdays, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
- Community Events: Availability to represent the school at occasional street fairs, local concerts, and community events to generate leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Enrollment: Actively work leads, pitch our programs to prospective families, and consistently bring in new students.
- Sales Strategy & Tracking: Monitor, track, and share sales progress, while proactively creating new strategies to drive school growth.
- Collaborate & Build Culture: Partner closely with the General Manager, Music Director, and Studio Coordinator to create an amazing, welcoming, and inclusive environment for our students and their families.
- Community Engagement: Build strong, lasting relationships with parents and immerse yourself in the local music scene.

- Proven sales experience with a strong ability to manage leads and close enrollments.

Compensation
- Hourly Rate: $25/hour
- Paid Time: All required training and pre-scheduled, approved events are paid.
- Bonus Structure: There is a bonus structure based on performance to be discussed further if we move ahead in the hiring process.
