We are seeking a Hospice Director of Nursing who understands that leadership is both clinical and strategic.
This role requires a disciplined RN leader who can ensure regulatory excellence, develop nurses, and guide patients to the appropriate level of care at the appropriate time. This role requires an experienced hospice nurse who understands the unique nature of hospice.

What You Will Do
- Provide full clinical oversight of the Hospice department
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal hospice regulations
- Maintain constant survey readiness
- Oversee documentation quality and clinical accuracy
- Lead and mentor nursing staff in clinical assessment and decision-making
- Identify patients who may be appropriate for hospice services and ensure timely, compliant transitions of care
- Collaborate closely with Home Health leadership to ensure continuity and patient-centered decision-making
- Monitor productivity, quality metrics, and performance trends
- Take ownership of clinical outcomes and continuously improve department performance
- Create a stable, accountable, and mission-driven clinical environment
This position requires a leader who can think systemically, operate independently, and align clinical operations with organizational goals while protecting the dignity and rights of every patient.
