Respiratory Therapist
Location: Houston, TX
Status: Full-Time
Pay: $34.00–$38.00 per hour

In this role, you'll work alongside nursing, therapy, and physicians to help residents manage chronic respiratory conditions, recover from illness, and maintain the highest possible level of independence. Responsibilities
- Perform respiratory assessments and monitor changes in resident condition
- Administer physician-ordered respiratory treatments and oxygen therapy
- Monitor and maintain oxygen delivery systems and respiratory equipment
- Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and medical providers to support individualized care plans
- Educate residents and families on respiratory treatments, equipment, and disease management
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations
- Help promote a safe, comfortable environment that supports each resident's respiratory health and overall well-being
Qualifications
Required
- Active Texas Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
- Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential
- Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
- Current BLS certification
Preferred
- Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, post-acute care, rehabilitation, or acute care
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team
