Responsibilities:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for Kindergarten-aged children.
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow.
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based learning.
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure a cohesive and enriching educational experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
- Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all children in your care.
Skills:
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to connect with young children on their level.
- Creativity and the ability to develop engaging lesson plans that promote learning through play.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom materials, resources, and student records.
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each child.
