Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in various settings, including assisted living, home health, and community environments. In this vital role, you will assist clients with daily activities, monitor their health and safety, and promote independence while ensuring their comfort and well-being. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, medication reminders
- Monitor patients’
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when required
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring infection control protocols are followed
- Support patients during outings or community activities to promote social engagement and independence
- Follow detailed care plans created by healthcare professionals to deliver personalized support aligned with each client’s needs
Experience
- Prior experience working in a homecare setting & community care settings is highly recommended
- Demonstrated knowledge of patient observation techniques
- Experience providing Alzheimer's care, dementia care, memory care or working with individuals with disabilities such as autism or developmental delays is advantageous
- Familiarity with caregiving tasks including assisting with ADLs, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and patient monitoring
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with office staff and team mates and family members
