Gentle Shepherd Hospice, a locally owned family business/ministry, is accepting applications for Full Time LPN. This daytime position is Monday - Friday. Some on call work will be required.
LPN jobs available in the Roanoke and Lynchburg regions. LPN will work in facilities as well as private homes. LPN will be responsible for regular patient visits, admissions, PRN visits and death visits. LPN may assist in chart review for Quality Assurance or other duties as time allows. The successful candidate will possess strong clinical/patient assessment skills, prioritize the needs of patients, have good interpersonal skills, will be able to work with a variety of people, consistently demonstrate ability to follow through, be flexible, work independently, take direction from supervisors, and be a team player. Individualized training program is based on the needs of each new employee. Training consists of job shadowing, in classroom teaching, and in the field training. Cell phone, laptop/ipad provided. Company car may be provided. Mileage is provided if driving personal car.
