Caregiver – Horsley Haven Home | Redwood City, CA
$20–$25/hr DOE · Full-time and Part-time positions available
We're a small, 6-bed residential care home for the elderly in Redwood City, and we're looking for caregivers to join our team as we prepare to open. We're a family-run home and we want people who genuinely enjoy working with older adults and take pride in the care they give.
What you'll be doing:
- Helping residents with daily living — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting
- Transfers and mobility assistance
- Meal prep and serving according to each resident’s dietary needs
- Medication assistance and keeping accurate records
- Watching for any changes in health and letting the administrator know
- Keeping the home clean, safe, and comfortable
- Being a friendly, consistent presence for our residents and their families
What we're looking for:
- At least 1 year of caregiving experience — RCFE, home care, CNA, hospital, or similar
- Experience with transfers and assisting non-ambulatory residents
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to get certified before starting)
- TB clearance and ability to pass a DOJ/FBI background check
- Dependable, caring, and a good communicator
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
Shifts available:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Night shift
