American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU (NICU) travel assignment in Oklahoma City, OK, requiring a minimum of one year of NICU experience and active RN licensure.

Day shift position in a hospital Neonatal ICU (NICU)

12-hour shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM, 3 days per week (36 hours/week)

13-week contract

Active OK RN license or current multistate compact RN license required

Current BLS and NRP certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) required; Advanced NRP preferred

Minimum of 1 year of NICU RN experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Responsibilities include assuming care for an assigned group of neonatal patients, monitoring physiological data, administering medications, managing IV infusions and blood products, and coordinating with family members on care plans and discharge

Delegates tasks to support staff as appropriate

Candidates who have previously worked at this facility must have a 6-month separation period after completing 26 weeks (one contract plus one extension) before being eligible for another assignment
