Melville Marriott Long Island, a full-service 371-room Marriott hotel with over 21,000 square feet of meeting room space, restaurant and bar, is presently seeking experienced and energetic individuals to fill the following Supervisory position:
Restaurant Manager
Candidate should possess a minimum of 2-years Supervisory experience in fast-paced, high-volume food and beverage environments (hotel preferred but not required) with an emphasis on guest satisfaction.
Candidate responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
Participating in the recruitment, selection, and training of staff
Supervision and assisting in scheduling food and beverage staff
Ensure customer satisfaction
Resolve customer complaints, as well as internal conflict amongst staff
Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory control costs Conducting shift meetings Attending staff meetings in F&B Director's absence Learning, implementing, adhering to all Marriott and Franchise Owner standards of operations as well as Dept of Health protocols. Maintaining a high level of cleanliness in all areas.
