School Nurse (RN)
Minimum Requirements (Education/Experience)
Associate’s degree and one (l) year of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN) in school nursing or other related nursing field. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Registered Professional Nurse licensed in the State of Florida. Valid First Aid/CPR/AED certificate issued by the American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or entity approved by the Florida Department of Health. Entity approved by the Florida Department of Health. These certifications and license need to be kept current.
Preferred (Education/Experience)
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Nursing or related field preferred.
