Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a school-based team in the Fresno, CA area. This role focuses on supporting students with speech, language, and communication challenges to help them succeed academically and socially. The SLP will collaborate closely with educators, families, and other specialists.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide direct and indirect therapy services to students
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulations
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
Active California SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Prior school-based experience is a plus, but not required
Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
