Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in Diesel Engine systems and be adept at diagnosing and repairing various types of vehicles. As a Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our equipment, contributing to the overall productivity of our organization. Evening shift currently available either work 4 - 10's or 5 - 8's
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using tools and other diagnostic equipment. You must supply your own tools.
- Conduct DOT inspections to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Replace or repair defective parts and components as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Collaborate with your team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanic or in a similar role is needed
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Self motivating and a willingness to work
- Ability to work independently as well as part of your team.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with colleagues and clients.
