We are seeking a friendly, creative, and motivated individual to join our team in a customer service and sales position at our local retail nursery. The ideal candidate is outgoing, patient, and enjoys working in a collaborative team environment.
This role requires good physical condition, as it involves lifting and spending extended periods on your feet.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting customers in selecting the appropriate plants for their gardens
- Operating the cash register and processing transactions
- Watering and maintaining plant inventory
- Creating attractive and eye catching plant and pottery displays
- Working with both interior houseplants and exterior plants

- Enthusiastic about plants and horticulture
Students from SBCC and UCSB are welcome to apply. Horticulture or retail experience is preferred but not required.
Position Details:
Part-time with the potential to transition into full-time. Availability on both weekdays and weekends is preferred.
