POSITION: Teaching Assistant
LOCATION: Adirondack Educational Center- Saranac Lake, NY
DESCRIPTION:

Provide instructional services to students under the general supervision of Teachers
-
Plan and implement specified parts of the daily schedule of topics of the curriculum
-
Maintain standards of behavior for students using behavior management techniques which enhance the students' development toward independence
-
Plan and implement remedial instruction when necessary
-
Perform various clerical and related duties assigned by the Teacher and Administrator
-
Follows school schedule
QUALIFICATIONS: NYS Certification as a Teaching Assistant or the ability to become certified
STARTING DATE: September 2026
SALARY: $25,194 (2025-26 Base Salary). Consideration for additional salary may be granted based upon education
