JOB
Ensures the safety of patrons, including but not limited to: preventing accidents, upholding rules, watching swimmers/patrons at all times. Performing other duties as assigned. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES

Monitoring activities at the pool.

Administer first aid and care as required by the professional rescuer.

Follow facility emergency action plan.

Complete injury reports.

Respond quickly and professionally to emergencies.

Be safety conscious on and off duty.

Attend staff meeting and in-service training.

Enforce and adhere to pool rules.

Inspects facilities for general cleanliness and completes general cleaning duties.

Provide information to patrons in a respectful and friendly manner.

Must be able to work weekdays, weeknights, weekends, holidays and split shifts.
SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION
Physical Requirements-
Must be able to swim

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.

Must be able to communicate effectively.
Certifications or Licenses Required-
Red Cross or equivalent adult and infant CPR certification and First Aid for the professional rescuer certification.

Must complete and pass a lifeguard training class and hold a current lifeguard certification.
