Description: About King University Founded in 1867, King University is a comprehensive Christian university located in Bristol, Tennessee. King is dedicated to providing students with a rich and rigorous academic experience that integrates faith, learning, and service in a close-knit, student-centered community. King University is accepting applications for part-time/adjunct positions to teach traditional face-to-face semester long courses in the School of Business, Economics, and Technology. Teaching and course assignments are dependent upon qualifications and needs of the undergraduate and graduate Business programs. Courses include accounting, business communication, economics, finance, management, and marketing.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in business or a related discipline, or significant professional experience in the field, and excellent oral and written communication skills. Must be available during the day.
Responsibilities: Instructor must be willing to provide a high level of student outreach and have the availability to connect with students, academic advisors and team leaders on a frequent basis. An instructor in this course must also be engaging, offering an increased and innovative presence in the face-to-face or online classroom to best serve the student and facilitate student success. The instructor should expect to provide substantial student feedback and offer a quick turnaround on grades.
