Kamehameha Schools is currently looking for a Lead Analyst, HR Technology to serve as a key partner at the intersection of HR systems, data governance, workforce analytics, and business process design. This role works closely with HR leaders and stakeholders to improve how HR technology and workforce data are used to support decision-making, operational effectiveness, and employee experience.
This position requires strong functional HR technology expertise, particularly in business process design, system optimization, and technology enhancements. The Lead Analyst works across HR teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and innovation, and supports the effective use of workforce data by translating complex data into actionable insights for leaders.
Success in this role requires a combination of analytical capability, systems thinking, and strong interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator who can consult with stakeholders, build collaborative relationships, mentor others and influence outcomes by connecting business needs with practical technology and data solutions.
Our ideal candidate will have:
Significant experience supporting and optimizing HR systems (Workday highly desired).
A strong understanding of HR business processes and system functionality.
Ability to analyze workforce data and provide insights that inform business decisions.
Strong communication and consulting skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to a variety of audiences.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence without direct authority.

Job Summary:
Serves as an integrator across HR Technology systems, governance, and workforce analytics , translating system design and data into decision-ready insight s that enable action . Applies strong technical and analytical expertise to interpret how HR processes and data are structured, us ed and delivered . B uild s organizational capability through mentorship, consultation, and scalable tools and practices . Leads through expertise and influence, strengthen ing the organization ’ s ability to leverage HR technology and data for in formed decision-making.
Essential Responsibilities:
Systems and Data Architecture Integration
Partner s with HR team members to align system architecture, data structures, and governance practices in support of scalable reporting, analytics, and business process design .
Identif ies gaps between current system design and decision-support needs , t ranslat ing findings into prioritized system, data, and process improvement s .
Contribute s to the development of data structures, reporting hierarchies, metric definitions, and shared data standards .
Document s system, data, and business process decisions to promote transparency, scalability, and shared understanding .
Analytics and Insights Delivery
Lead s development of dashboards, reports, and analytic s that deliver clear, actionable workforce insights to HR leaders and stakeholders .
HR Technology Solution Design & Delivery
Evaluate s emerging technologies for readiness, data quality, ethical considerations, and alignment with KS values .
Lead s or support s the implementation of Workday modules, enhancements, integrations, and related system initiatives .
Serve s as a subject matter expert for Workday capabilities , including configuration , integrations, and advanced functionality.
C onsultation, Influence and C apability Building
Mentor s and support s the development of analysts across systems, governance, and analytics domains, ensur ing quality and rigor of work
De velops tools, resources, and learning opportunities t o enhance data literacy, system fluency, and self-service capabilities .
Minimum Qualifications - An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered for the requirements listed.
Bachelor's Degree in HR Technology, Information Systems, Organizational Development, Business Analytics, or related field
Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in HR technology, workforce analytics, or related areas, demonstrating growth across both technical and analytical domains
Experience working across HR systems, data structures, and reporting environments, understanding how system design impacts analytics and decision-making
Ability to sit for extended periods of time, perform desk-based computer tasks, grasp objects with light or fine manipulation, and talk and hear.
Occasionally stand and/or walk, write by hand , and lift and/or carry, push and/or pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
Rarely twist, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, climb, reach or work above shoulder, or grasp forcefully.

Based on the compensation range provided below, salaries are commensurate with job-related experience, skills and competencies, education, internal equity, length of work year, and other organizational needs.
