STS is currently hiring a Day shift Custodian for the 2026-2027 school year within Northeastern School District

M-F, 7AM-3:30PM

*Pay rate starting at $15.00 but is negotiable based upon relevant job experience.
Qualifications
- Two (2) years experience in custodial services (preferred)
- High School diploma or equivalency required
- Other education/experience as accepted by the school board and administration
Summary
In the role of Custodial Maintenance, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment within our facilities, particularly in a school setting. Your core skills in cleaning, janitorial, and custodial experience will be vital as you perform floor care and commercial cleaning tasks. A high school diploma or GED is required, along with relevant custodial experience. Your ability to handle additional tasks such as residential painting and facilities maintenance will enhance our team's effectiveness. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of school facilities, including classrooms, restrooms, and hallways.
- Ensure proper floor care through sweeping, mopping, and buffing as needed.
- Handle custodial tasks with attention to detail, maintaining a safe and sanitary environment.
- Assist with industrial cleaning and facilities maintenance as required.
- Collaborate with staff to address cleaning needs and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for students and visitors.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Buildings and Grounds, Director of Buildings and Grounds, CFOO, and/or Superintendent of Schools.
