We are looking for an experienced and passionate Chef to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have experience with all size of events, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and have a passion for creating delicious and unique dishes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing meals, building appetizers at events, and ensuring that all health and safety regulations are followed.
Maintaining a neat and clean appearance is a must, as we will be working IN the client's home from time to time.
Having your own vehicle to get to work, and the events around Eugene/Springfield is a must. Once in a while, there are breakfast shifts, but mostly it's lunches, dinners, and cocktail parties.
Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
Must be presentable to be around doctors, university professors, attorneys, etc. We are working in a 5 million dollar home in July, so I would like my staff to be comfortable in all settings.
Pay is $20/hour for kitchen prep work. When we are hired to provide full service events, the pay increases to $30 per hour for time at the venue.
Occasional events on the coast.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals according to recipes and customer specifications.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
- Ensure food safety standards are met.
- Ensure quality of food served.
