Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Duties
- Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, refrigeration units, kitchen equipment, and mechanical systems.
- Install, calibrate, and service appliances and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Read schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints to accurately diagnose issues and execute repairs.
- Operate company vehicles safely for on-site maintenance tasks or equipment transport.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and parts used to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments or facilities to minimize downtime.
- Conduct safety checks on mechanical systems and ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or Maintenance Technician with a strong background in appliance repair and mechanical systems repair.
- Familiarity with HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration) systems including air conditioning units and refrigeration equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to read schematics and technical diagrams for complex mechanical or electrical systems.
- Experience with kitchen equipment maintenance and appliance installation is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) practices within construction or industrial environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills to communicate effectively with team members and clients.
- Leadership qualities that enable guidance of junior technicians or team members when necessary.
