Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in various fabrication and welding techniques. This role involves building and assembling components according to specifications, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Responsibilities
- Operate welding equipment to fabricate metal components.
- Build and assemble parts based on schematics and engineering drawings.
- Utilize hand tools and machinery, including press brake machines, to shape and form metal materials.
- Read a tape measure.
- Perform pipe threading and ductwork fabrication as required by project specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve fabrication processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques and practices.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
- Experience in assembling metal structures and components.
- Familiarity with operating press brake machines and performing pipe threading tasks.
- Competence in machining processes related to fabrication work.
