We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in servicing and repairing heavy machinery. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using OEM specifications and service manuals.
- Fabricate parts as needed to support repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Assemble and disassemble machinery components for inspection and repair.
- Utilize hand tools and diagnostic equipment effectively to troubleshoot problems.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during equipment repairs or relocations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
Requirements
- Able to access various military bases.
- CDL not required but is an incentive.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Equipment Mechanic or similar role, preferably within a dealership or service technician environment.
- Strong knowledge of heavy machinery operation.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and repair techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.41 - $30.00 per hour
