The Practical Side (Because Sleep Schedules Matter)
The overnight shift requires a specific type of person—someone who can maintain alertness and good judgment during night hours, adapt their sleep schedule accordingly, and understand the unique dynamics of residential care during quiet hours. You'll need to be physically mobile (climbing stairs, conducting regular checks), attentive to details, and ready to respond calmly to any situations that arise.
The Details
- Hours: 11:00pm to 7:00am
- Benefits: 100% employer-paid medical insurance, dental, vision, 401(k), and paid time off
- Requirements: Must be 21+ years of age, pass criminal background check, and have experience working overnight shifts
- Physical Requirements: Must be able to climb stairs and be on your feet the majority of your shift, conduct regular checks, and respond quickly if needed
