Pay Rate: $26.00–$36.00/hour
Position Overview:
The Vision Companies is seeking an experienced CNC Swiss Machinist to join a growing precision manufacturing team in Isanti, MN. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and troubleshooting CNC Swiss turning machines to manufacture high-quality precision components while maintaining strict quality and safety standards.
The ideal candidate has experience with Swiss turning centers, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to producing quality parts in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities:
Machine Setup & Operation
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot CNC Swiss turning machines
- Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to maintain quality and production efficiency
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and minor machine adjustments as needed
- Produce precision machined components according to engineering specifications and customer requirements
- Maintain production schedules while meeting quality standards
Quality Control
- Read and interpret blueprints, manufacturing plans, and work instructions
- Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments
- Verify finished parts meet customer specifications and quality requirements
- Accurately complete production and inspection documentation
- Report quality concerns or equipment issues promptly
Safety & Production Support
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Comply with ISO 13485 quality standards and manufacturing requirements
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, quality personnel, and team members
- Assist with additional production duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required
- Previous CNC Swiss machining experience
- Experience setting up and operating CNC turning centers
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documentation
- Experience performing in-process quality inspections
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
Preferred
- Experience with Citizen, Miyano, or Tsugami Swiss turning centers
- Medical device manufacturing experience
- Experience working in ISO 13485 manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments and quality inspection techniques
Working Conditions:
