```Job Summary:
Veterans Scaffold Services, Inc. located in Hopedale, MA was established in 2002. We are growing at an incredible rate and are seeking a Non Union Experienced Scaffold Erector to join our team. The position involves travelling to customer locations throughout New England (mainly in MA & RI). OSHA-10 and other related certified training is a plus. A driver's license and reliable transportation to and from job locations is a must.
The Scaffold Erector will be responsible for assisting in the erection and dismantle of scaffolding structures to provide safe working platforms for various construction projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in scaffold building and possess a strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities:
· Loading and unloading required materials for the specific projects
· Transport scaffolding materials to the job site
· Assist in constructing and securing scaffolding around construction projects
· Inspect your work for safety issues
· Break down the structure once the project is complete
. Collaborate with other construction workers to ensure efficient workflow and project completion.
. Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures while working at heights
. Maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Scaffold Erector or similar role
- Strong knowledge of scaffold building techniques and safety procedures
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Physical stamina and ability to work at heights for extended periods of time
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation (It is your responsibility to get to job sites on a daily basis)
Skills:
- Welding: Proficient in welding techniques for scaffold assembly and repairs.
- Roofing: Knowledge of roof construction methods to ensure proper scaffold placement.
- Hardscape: Familiarity with hardscape construction for scaffolding on outdoor projects.
- Electrical: Basic understanding of electrical systems for safe scaffold installation near power sources.
- Frame Carpentry: Ability to construct scaffold frames using carpentry skills.
- Construction Estimating: Knowledge of estimating materials and labor required for scaffold projects.
- Flooring Installation: Understanding of flooring installation processes for proper scaffold placement.
- Masonry: Familiarity with masonry construction methods for scaffold assembly on brick or stone structures.
- Caulking: Skill in applying caulk to seal joints and prevent water infiltration.
