Join Our Growing Fabrication Team!
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our fabrication shop team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a press brake, reading blueprints, and producing quality metal components to exact specifications.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate press brake equipment to bend and form metal parts
- Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings
- Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality standards are met
- Adjust machine settings for different material types and thicknesses
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Work closely with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
- Perform routine machine maintenance and report equipment issues
Qualifications
- Previous brake operator, fabrication, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and shop drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
