Duties
- Perform a variety of hair services including cuts, color treatments, styling, and hair extensions.
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Maintain knowledge of color theory to provide expert advice on color selection and application.
- Engage in retail sales by recommending hair care products that suit clients’ needs.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the workstation and salon environment.
- Build strong relationships with clients through effective communication and exceptional customer service.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Hair Stylist or similar role in a salon environment.
- Proficiency in various hair techniques including cutting, coloring, and styling.
- Familiarity with retail math to assist in product sales.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of current trends in hairstyling and beauty products is preferred.
- A valid cosmetology license is required.
