Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Head Housekeeper to lead our housekeeping team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our hospitality facilities. This pivotal role involves overseeing daily cleaning operations, managing staff, and maintaining high standards of hygiene and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
- Assign daily room assignments to housekeeping staff
- Inspect guest rooms, and public areas to ensure quality standards are consistently maintained
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels and maintenance. Communicate ordering needs with management
- Train, coach and mentor new and existing housekeeping employees on proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Monitor employee performance and provide feedback, corrective action and recognition as needed.
- Ensure housekeeping carts and storage closets remain clean, organized and fully stocked
- Coordinate with the Front Desk and Maintenance departments to prioritize room readiness and address guests concerns promptly
- Assist with cleaning guest rooms and common areas during high occupancy periods or staffing shortages
- Participate in recruiting, interviewing, and training housekeeping team members
- Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability, and exceptional guest service
- Ensure all staff adhere to attendance, uniform and professional conduct expectations
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
