Little City Coffee & Kitchen is looking to find a part time baker to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position has at least 1 year commercial baking experience or equivalent schooling.
About us:
We are a fully scratch cafe based in the heart of downtown Providence. Our pastry program consists of seasonal menu changing every 4-6 weeks. House made cookies, scones, quick breads, as well as several yeasted doughs and laminated doughs. We run regular specials and all team members are welcome to contribute making this a great opportunity to practice/develop skills for a student. We're also happy to accommodate a paid internship if needed. We also have a small kitchen menu that consists of a few breakfast sandwiches.
Daily tasks:
- morning bake and finishing
- scaling and mixing
-dough shaping
-laminating
-daily prep for following day
Hours are 5am -1pm weekday availability is a must, pay starts at $18 an hour plus tips
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
