Responsibilities
- Conduct nightly audits of all hotel transactions using property management systems (PMS) such as PEP or similar platforms to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including check-ins, check-outs, and handling guest inquiries with professionalism and warmth.
- Respond promptly to guest requests, complaints, or emergencies, providing exceptional customer service and problem-solving solutions.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, including financial summaries, incident logs, and maintenance issues for management review.
- Enforce hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure compliance and guest safety at all times.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address any overnight issues affecting guest comfort or hotel operations.
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality management with experience in front desk operations and night audit procedures.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to enhance guest communication across diverse populations.
- Proficiency in hotel management software such as OPERA or other property management systems (PMS).
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on phone etiquette, guest relations, and hospitality standards.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures, security protocols, and guest safety practices.
- Exceptional communication skills for client interaction via phone or in person, demonstrating professionalism and hospitality expertise.
- Ability to solve customer service problems efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
- Previous resort or hotel experience preferred to adapt quickly to fast-paced environments with high guest expectations.
