StrongURcare is opening a brand-new, comprehensive outpatient healthcare facility in Selinsgrove, and we are hiring Certified Medical Assistants (CMAs) to join our founding team.
StrongURcare offers a unique, integrated care model including:
- Super Urgent Care
- Rheumatology Specialty Clinic
- Infusion Services
- On-site Radiology

CMA Responsibilities – Urgent Care
- Perform patient intake, vital signs, and rooming
- Document chief complaint, medical history, medications, and allergies
- Assist providers with exams and minor procedures
- Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, and point-of-care testing
- Administer medications and injections per certification and scope
- Prepare patients for diagnostic testing and radiology
- Provide patient education and discharge instructions
- Clean and restock exam rooms
- Document accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Support efficient patient flow in a high-volume environment
CMA Responsibilities – Outpatient Clinic & Infusion
- Assist with rheumatology and outpatient clinic visits
- Prepare patients for injections, treatments, and infusions
- Monitor patients pre- and post-procedure and report concerns
- Perform medication reconciliation and patient education
- Coordinate scheduling, follow-ups, and referrals
- Maintain supplies and treatment room readiness
- Work closely with nursing staff and providers to ensure quality care
Requirements
- ✔ Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
- (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or equivalent)
- ✔ BLS certification required
- ✔ Experience in an outpatient clinic or ambulatory setting
- ✔ Strong communication and multitasking skills
- ✔ Ability to work efficiently in a team-based environment
- ⭐ Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Department
- ⭐ Phlebotomy experience
- ⭐ Exposure to infusion services or specialty clinics
- ⭐ Experience using EHR systems
