McRae's U.S. Mail Service, Inc. is a fast growing, family owned company based out of West Allis, WI. We are looking to hire part-time class B CDL drivers. You will be hauling US Mail to and from difference postal facilities locally. This opportunity is perfect for retirees or anyone looking to make extra income on the side.
Details
- We are looking for part time drivers that can be available as a floaters.
- Saturdays are a must AM and/or PM
- Cover routes when when drivers on vacation, call outs, or just when needed.
- AM/PM work available during the week as well
Requirements
- Class B CDL with Air Brakes preferred
- Must have a clean driving record
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Postal badge
- Must be able to pass USPS background check
- No preventable DOT accidents, suspensions, or revoked license in past 3 years
- No DUI's
- All male applicants born after 1-1-1960 must be registered with the selective service in order to get clearance for a U.S. Postal badge.
- Pass a DOT Pre-Employment Drug Test
- Current Fed Med card
- Must be at least 23 years old
- Must have a verifiable job history
- Pay wage is based on contract that is serviced. Range listed in posting.
Contract Pay Breakdown
- Base pay: $28.10 -30.83 per hour. Pay is based on contract operated
- Fringe pay: $5.53-$6.16 per hour(based on contract) up to 80 hours per pay period. (Fringe allocated into 401K account)
- 11 postal holidays recognized
- Eligible for vacation after a year of service
- Shuttle car rate: $12.00 per hour if applicable
