Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Housekeeper VII to lead and manage high-level cleaning operations within our hospitality or institutional environment. This role involves overseeing the cleanliness, sanitation, and maintenance of multiple facilities, ensuring that all standards of hygiene, safety, and customer satisfaction are consistently met. As a Housekeeper VII, you will supervise a team of custodial staff, coordinate cleaning schedules, and implement best practices in sanitation management. Your leadership will be vital in creating a welcoming, spotless environment that exceeds expectations and maintains compliance with safety regulations.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning activities across multiple areas, including guest rooms, public spaces, and specialized facilities such as kitchens or laundry areas.
- Lead and motivate custodial teams to achieve high standards of cleanliness and sanitation through effective team management and clear communication.
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures aligned with industry best practices for commercial cleaning, industrial cleaning, and hospitality environments.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to sanitation protocols, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Train staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, use of cleaning equipment, and sanitation management to promote a safe working environment.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment maintenance schedules, and ensure compliance with environmental health standards.
- Collaborate with management to develop staffing schedules, monitor performance metrics, and address any operational issues promptly.
Experience
- Proven experience in custodial services or housekeeping management within hospitality, hotel, or institutional settings.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading teams in commercial or industrial cleaning environments.
- Strong knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and janitorial procedures specific to large-scale facilities.
- Experience managing cleaning operations that include laundry services or specialized sanitation tasks.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate staff, communicate effectively with team members and management alike.
- Background in managing inventory for cleaning supplies and maintaining compliance with health standards.
- Prior experience in customer service-oriented roles within hospitality or related industries is highly desirable.

Pay: $14.00 - $15.50 per hour
