Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious meals in our fast-paced kitchen. Duties:
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications
- Ensure all food items are prepared and presented in a timely manner
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures
- Collaborate with the culinary team to plan and execute menu items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Line Cook or similar role in the food industry
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food preparation methods
- Familiarity with dietary department guidelines and regulations
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in catering or banquet settings
- Knowledge of menu planning and recipe development
