Canterbury Court is looking for a Dishwasher to join our family. This is a full-time position located in the Healthcare Dining Services division of our Life Plan Community (LPC). The Dishwasher must have a sincere desire to serve older adults in a quality continuing care setting and must strive to provide excellence and consistency. Responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of the assigned unit.

Ensure all established cleaning standards, procedures, and schedules are consistently followed.

Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, silverware, pots, and pans according to established procedures.

Clean the kitchen daily, including emptying trash, mopping floors, and cleaning kitchen equipment not assigned to other Food Service personnel.

Receive, organize, and properly store supplies in the storeroom and walk-in freezer.

Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment in accordance with applicable health and sanitation standards.

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements:

Must be able to organize and prioritize tasks effectively to maximize efficiency and productivity and maintain a high level of mental alertness throughout the workday.

Must be able to handle breakable equipment carefully and safely while minimizing breakage. The ability to stand and remain physically active for extended periods is essential.

Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and related systems, including dishwashers, garbage disposals, equipment lowerators, freight elevators, and similar equipment, is required.

Must demonstrate efficiency, attention to detail, dependability, and a thorough approach to completing assigned duties.
