Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

History and physical examination: Conduct patient interview and perform appropriate physical exam to develop the patient’s plan of care.

Order and interpret diagnostic test results. Provide education to patient regarding results of diagnostic tests.

Make diagnoses and decisions about management and treatment.

Prescribe therapy and/or medication per practice’s algorithms.

Electronic Medical Record documentation: Provide accurate and thorough documentation of the office visit.

Perform therapeutic procedures-such as medication injections, wound care, trigger point injections, and infection management.

Supervise and coordinate appropriate duties of non-licensed clinical staff.

Address messages regarding patient complications, and/or medication refills.

Participate in clinical education opportunities

Act as preceptor to new hire providers

Maintain flexibility

Maintain licensing and prescribing duties by ensuring renewals and required continued education is completed.

Practice in a safe and compliant manner, in accordance to practice policies & protocols as well as your state/national regulatory licensing guidelines.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of pain management experience

Valid DEA License
-
Valid Arizona PA or NP licensure

Some travel required (local)
